I hail from a lineage deeply rooted in the world of electricity—my father, grandfather, and even great-uncle were dedicated linemen. Additionally, I am married to an electrician, and my extended family is filled with those who work tirelessly in this field.

Growing up, I was surrounded by stories and life lessons drawn from my father, fondly nicknamed “Nisto” by his linemen brothers. These men braved the elements, from the remote and wild landscapes of Florida to the fierce tropical storms and humid nights, to ensure our communities had power.
